Dougie Up For Outstanding Managerial Achievement

It's award season, Darren Ambrose, Wilfired Zaha and now Dougie Freedman.

The gaffer has been nominated for the Football Manager Outstanding Managerial Achievement category, and will find himself up against Gus Poyet (Brighton) and Lee Clark (formerly Huddersfield).

I might be biased, because the other two managers have certainly had success this season and Clark can consider himself seriously unlucky to have been axed, but for sheer turnaround the it has to go to Dougie when you consider where we were last year and the season we had, compared to what has been achieved this season.

The Awards ceremony takes place on March 11.
