Dougie's Decree: Point Fair On Reflection

Dougie's Decree: Point Fair On Reflection

A winning first half and a losing second half, a draw was more than fair in Dougie's eyes today.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after the goalless draw, Freedman said he was pleased with the way we approached the first half and was disappointed we didn't take our chances but after our second half showing, a point was fair overall.

'The game is all about scoring goals and defending well and we did one of those things right today. In the first half we were outstanding and deserved to win, but didn't take our chances, after the next 45 I think a draw was a fair result.'

Freedman also explained why Nathaniel Clyne was missing today.

'He picked up a knock in training before the Watford game and he felt it in the match so we had a scan done. It's nothing serious but he is a young lad and the rest for two or three games will do him good.'
