Parish Delighted With Eagles Progress

Chairman Steve Parish has said he thinks people can now see the progress the club have made and can see what we are trying to achieve as we continue to develop.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Parish said that the club had worked hard on putting the building blocks in place for further development and that wasn't just something that they needed to achieve financially, but it was also a matter of staff and personnel.

'People are starting to realise that we are putting something together and everybody is going in the right direction, we have the right people at the club but these things take time. You have to tackle one thing at a time, that is what we are doing and everybody is doing their bit.'

With players talking of a possible outside run for the play off positions, Parish admits it would be a dream if we could achieve that this season and he hasn't given up hope either.

'This season has been okay and we had a good cup run - in hindsight that has perhaps impacted on our play off hopes, but there are a few games left in the season to sneak in.'
