Dougie's Decree: A Tight Game

Dougie Freedman was happy with the positives from the draw against Hull, despite us not being able to take three points.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following the game Dougie focused on our now unbeaten in nine record and was again pleased with our defensive display.

'I'm pleased to come up against such a good side and stand up to them. I think you can see the progress we've made on the field and off. We're trying to grow a team here and that's going to take time. It was always going to be a tight game and I thought it was a good game.'

Another cleansheet, another game unbeaten...

'I'm really proud of what I saw today in terms of defending and the way we approached the game. We had a plan that nearly worked.'

Other positives from the game of course were the return of Jonathan Williams and another couple of youngsters getting more pitch time.
