Dougie's Decree: Never Say Die

Dougie Freedman was delighted to see us take all 3 points against Barnsley with a late goal, and he believed the players deserved it given their attitude on the night.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after Sean Scannell's 92nd minute winner, Freedman said.

'These players have a never say die attitude, we're unbeaten in 10 now so we're not a team that lies down so anything is possible. It just shows what resilience we have got. The belief that we showed to keep on going when the performance wasn't at its best is why we are doing so well this year, we dug in and got the result.'

Freedman was also delighted that it was Scannell who earnt us the win.

'I'm delighted that Sean ended up with the winner. It has been a bit of a stop start season for the lad, but he's a talented kid who has been working hard and he deserves to do well.'
