'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Approach For Clyne

Dougie Freedman has denied that he has received a single approach for Nathaniel Clyne, and he doesn't believe he's ready for the Premier League yet.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC he said.

'Nobody's ever called me about him. Journalists can pick up whatever you feel from the social networking sites, but Nathaniel Clyne has been offered a contract here, he's grown up here, he's been produced from this club, and I believe if we keep him a year or two more, we will sell him to the top four.'

Freedman also had the obvious warning of Clyne getting his head turned too early.

'If he moves on too quickly though, he might find himself where a lot of players who've gone from this clubs are, in the bottom regions of the Premier League and back in the Championship.'
