Dougie's Decree: Bad Day Result Wise

Dougie's Decree: Bad Day Result Wise

Dougie Freedman has admitted today was a bad day given the result, but he thought that for well over an hour the game could've gone either way.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after the 3-0 loss, Dougie said.

'Result wise it wasn't a good day, it's not going to be when you get beaten. But I felt that for 65-70 minutes it was a very even game and that if we'd have taken one or two of the opportunities then it could have been different.'

Despite the positives that Dougie can take from the game, such as the performance of Dean Moxey at centre half, he did feel we let ourselves down towards the end of the game.

'It's a new position for him and I thought Dean Moxey did a grand job. If I was to point my finger at anything I thought our energy levels were a little bit low. Emotionally and physically our performance has dropped by maybe 5%.'
