Murray Has Freedman Support

Murray Has Freedman Support

Dougie Freedman has said that there's much more to Glenn Murray than simply scoring goals, as the striker continues his barren spell.

Speaking to yourlocalguardian after the Forest game, Freedman said.

'I feel that as a forward you have to contribute more than just goals. He held the ball up fantastically well and he linked up well which is an asset for us. Although Glenn's goals weren't there today, I felt his link up play was fantastic.'

It may have been a few months since he last found the net, but if he keeps putting in the work the goals will surely flow again.
