'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Freedman Confirms Improved Contract Offer

Dougie Freedman has confirmed that Palace have offered Nathaniel Clyne a further improved contract in the hope he will remain at the club.

'We've offered a new improved contract. We're still trying to keep in line with the current wage structure and we're just waiting for Nathaniel to come back to us.'

Quotes - South London Press.

Freedman also adds the standard warning that Clyne should be wary of making the step up too early and suffering for it.

Positive move by the club though, hopefully it will bare fruit.
