Youngster Knows Hard Work Has Just Begun

Youngster Knows Hard Work Has Just Begun

Academy starlet Ghassimu Sow has said he is delighted to have signed his first professional contract with Palace, and now he knows he needs to knuckle down and reach his potential.

Although he had to wait until his 17th birthday to put pen to paper on the 3 year deal he was gifted, the youngster is over the moon with the deal.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC he said.

'When I heard the news I was delighted and excited. I'm happy with how I've progressed so far. Playing for Palace is fun, exciting and I always look forward to putting on the shirt.'

Sow rightly passed praise onto Academy manager Gary Issott and youth coach Ben Garner for their support and work with him, and he knows he is indebted to them for their efforts.
