Palace Loan Saints Defender
Crystal Palace have announced the arrival of Southampton's centre half, Aaron Martin, on a season long loan.
The 22 year old becomes Dougie's second capture of the summer.
Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Martin said.
'Dougie seemed to sell the club so well and he seems a really nice person. He seems a great manager to work for, I can't wait to get started now.'
Dougie admitted he had had his eye on Martin for a while, and he believes he'll have a key role to play in our next campaign.
'Aaron is a player who I have watched since his non league day and he has done very well at Southampton. He's a talented, hard working centre half who is hungry for success and I see him playing a major role in our continued progress next season.'
