Freedman Confirms Baxter Talks
Dougie Freedman has confirmed that Palace are in discussions with the former Everton striker Jose Baxter.
Speaking to Sky Sports the gaffer said that he had had 'many meetings' with the 20 year old, but he knows a number of clubs are interested in securing his signature so it's far from a done deal.
'What's happened with Jose is he's a young guy that I've had many meetings with. He's a fantastic young player, but he's got offers.'
Whilst Baxter might have other offers on the table he has already tweeted that Palace 'are a great team with great future' so hopefully that will work in our favour. As it stands, Dougie confirmed that Baxter is currently training with Palace.
