Palace:

Fitzsimmons, Akuruka, Daniel, Dorman, Taylor (Holland 45), Wynter (Chambers 69), Fenwick (Boateng 71), Marrow (KaiKai 71), Sekajja, Appiah (Sow 65), Cadogan.

Speaking to Croydon Advertiser after the game, Jamie Fullarton wasn't too disappointed, as he believes the experience will serve the youngsters well in their development.

'It was a young squad and it was a great learning curve fir them. It's also early for myself being at the club, so you form opinions and you're having a look to see where the players are at to work on. I don't think I was surprised by what happened, but for the young players, it was the reality of tough and physical football.'
