Dougie Not Progressing Trial Deals

Dougie Freedman has said he will be taking no further action on Alexander Allart or Peter Kurucz.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser the gaffer said on Allart.

'He's gone back to France and we've decided not to take him. It was going to take him too long to get up to speed, so we're back on the look out.'

Freedman adds that the decision was taken solely on his fitness levels, and it was the case that if we had injuries, players would need to be ready to step in, and Allart couldn't do that with his current conditioning.

As for on trial goalkeeper Peter Kurucz, Dougie said.

'Peter's gone now as well. We've decided not to take that option up. Julian is coming along nicely and Lewis Price has worked extremely hard all summer and he's performing well.'
