Freedman Still Working On Targets

Dougie Freedman has said the club were close to two deals on Monday, but it was decided the deals weren't suitable.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Dougie revealed the deals, and said he was confident we would have more players in come the close of the window.

'We were close on two fronts yesterday, they didn't happen as the deal wasn't suitable to us. There are certain players we would like to sign and we're monitoring them. I'm very confident we will add numbers.'

In some early team news for tonight, Freedman confirmed that the game has come too early for Jonathan Williams and Paddy McCarthy.

'Saturday's game will be a realistic target, tonight's game would be too much of a risk.'
