Dougie's Decree: It Will Come

Dougie's Decree: It Will Come

Dougie Freedman remains upbeat despite Palace suffering a third loss on the bounce today.

Speaking to the press after the game against Middlesbrough, the gaffer said that confidence in the camp was still high, and if we continue to play as we did, but cut out the errors, the team will soon click and start getting points.

'We haven't played too badly at all. We did enough to stay in the game and after the break improved. Once we pulled one back we had a few good chances to get something out of the game, but a couple of errors in important areas cost us. Generally we were okay. We were competitive, we worked hard and it's pleasing that spirit remains fantastic. It we keep working and believing it will come.'

I think most fans hope it comes sooner rather than later, with some grumbles already in the fanbase, a few good results to boost confidence amongst us will go a long way on matchdays.
