'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dougie's Decree: Delighted With 3 Points

Dougie Freedman has declared himself pleased after the team bounced back from a bad start to the season to gain our first three points today.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after the 2-1 win, Dougie said.

'I'm not relieved, I'm very happy for the fans. They have stuck by us through the last games but that was a display of character and determination to repay the fans. The turning point for me was when Jonny Williams came on and turned the game. He kept our momentum going and the substitutions were very positive. We grouped together, they ground it out today and it shows you what we're about.'

Build on it now, improve our form and confidence and hopefully the new signings will have the impact Dougie hopes from them.
