I'm Not At Palace For Money

I'm Not At Palace For Money

Andre Moritz has said he didn't join Palace for money, in fact he took a pay cut to get his chance in English football.

Speaking to the South London Press the 26 year old said he was on 20% of what he earnt in Turkey, but he wanted to test himself in England and he wants to improve himself.

'I have come to Palace to improve myself, the money that I received today is 20% of what I was getting in Turkey. I'm not here for the money, I'm here for the football.'

Refreshing attitude in the current game really, hopefully Andre will prove what Dougie saw in him and go on and be an asset for us in year's to come. If not, a 12 month gamble isn't a bad risk.
