Dougie's Decree: Fantastic Performance

Dougie Freedman hailed the performance of the team in last night's unfortunate 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after the game, Dougie could only have been happier had we managed to take the three points we richly deserved.

'The performance was fantastic. The result was disappointing, but the performance levels were great. I thought we passed them off the pitch but I thought we were a bit naive when they went down to ten men. We have done bits of work on that, but maybe we need to do more and play a different way when the opposition go down to 10 men. We couldn't get that second goal.'

The positives definitely outweigh any negatives from last night though, and Freedman says he knows we'll get better with confidence and belief.

'I just need everyone to believe in us a little bit more, we are a good team, a strong team, we can get better, of course we can, but I thought tonight we showed our capabilities of how good we can be.'

As for the injury to our goalscorer, Freedman added.

'It was concussion. I'll need a couple of days to see if he's a doubt for Saturday.'
