Freedman Confident Ahead Of Cardiff

Freedman Confident Ahead Of Cardiff

Dougie Freedman has said he is confident ahead of the Cardiff clash because of how we performed midweek.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Dougie said.

'I felt that we moved the ball around very well, we attacked with some purpose as well, there were a lot of chances created and when we had to defend, I felt we defended well. It was an all round good team performance.'

As for Kagisho Dikgacoi, Freedman thinks he might be available this weekend, but it will be a late decision.

'It looks like he'll be fine. He got whiplash in his neck, so he'll be a little bit touch and go, but we are leaning towards that he'll be fine for Saturday. He's done very well this season, we had a good chat this summer about releasing one of the midfielders more than last season. We are set up a bit different now, I think, it has worked for us.'

The only other injury issue is young Jonny Williams who picked up a knock.

'It's just the way he plays. He's very exciting, always committing defenders and he's going to take a lot of knocks and unfortunately he got a knock again which makes him 50/50. Knowing Jonny's character, he'll turn up with a smile on his face and be up for selection.'
