'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Murray Deserved His Hattrick

Dougie Freedman has said Glenn Murray more than deserved his hattrick against Cardiff, and added that hopefully his performance will silence some doubters.

Speaking to London24 about the 28 year old striker, Freedman said.

'I've always believed in Glenn, I know he's a top striker. Unfortunately he had his doubters last year - I just can't see it. His performance today, not only on the ball but off the ball, was second to none. I felt he deserved his hattrick, the amount of effort he's putting in he epitomises what we're about right now.'
