Gabbidon's Focus Is Refreshing

Dougie Freedman has said that talking to Danny Gabbidon during his initial training spell at the club was refreshing because he only wanted to talk about playing again.

Speaking to yourlocalguardian Freedman explained that Gabbidon's fitness wasn't yet quite right for any pitch time, but he would soon be there.

'Danny came down to train with us and it was very refreshing to talk to him because he never talked about money or anything else, only how he wanted to have some more success in his career. His fitness is a little behind and the way I like to do things and the way I like to train means he just needs to be patient.'
