'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Burnley Will Show Our Development

Dougie Freedman believes this weekend's game against Burnley will show far Palace have come since he took on the job.

Speaking to the South London Press Dougie explained that he now believes Palace are in a position to really match Burnley and he's looking forward to seeing how we battle with them.

'They had just come down from the Premier League and we were beaten 1-0, I felt they were a long way away from where we were. But I feel we're at the same level. A couple of years ago I'd have said it would be difficult to get on a level footing, but we are now. It'll be a chance to see how far we have gone and how far we could possibly go.'
