Zat Knight Is Wrong

After Zat Knight turned on Wilfried Zaha after the Bolton game, Dougie has politely pointed a few things out over the penalty.

Speaking to yourlocalguardian after hearing Knight accuse Wilf of 'conning' the referee into giving a penalty, Dougie responded by saying.

'Unfortunately Zat Knight is not a coach and doesn't not understand the game in terms of a coach. He was obviously disappointed with the penalty and sometimes a player can give an opinion which distances himself from a mistake. I think when Zat looks at the replay, he'll know that when you tackle with your wrong foot and when you lunge and don't take the ball, you're giving the referee no option but to give a penalty and that's what he did.'

Game, set and match I wonder?

Its not the first time Zat has shot his mouth off in a vain attempt to deflect away the blame...his defending can be woeful at times. Its just so very poor that he cannot find any fault with himself, especially when the error is at his doorstep alone. Zaha got the better of him and thats the start, middle and end of it!

He strikes me as somebody who can put in the performance of a life time, and then play like a pub player for the next three games, never seems to be consistent as you'd expect for somebody of his experience.
