Dougie's Decree: Tremendous Week

Dougie's Decree: Tremendous Week

After talking before the match about Burnley being a benchmark of Palace's development, Freedman was obviously delighted with us ending the week with a win.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following the 4-3 win, Freedman said it had been a tremendous week for the club and we go into the international break on a real high.

'Overall I am very happy because it has been a tremendous week's work. There was a great physical effort put into the three games that we won and they were three different games we've had to play. Today was always going to be difficult. I felt they scored two goals against the run of play that put us on the backfoot, but I felt the response from the lads won us the game.'

Of course Wilf was again referenced.

'I think this is the place to fulful it (his potential) because he is expressing his talent week in, week out in front of a very good crowd. I have seen him play better than today but I have very high standards with Wilfried, as I have with a lot of players.'
