'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Goodwillie Cuts Loan Spell Short

Lennie Lawrence has said that David Goodwillie had trouble settling in London, so it's been agreed he'll return to Blackburn.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Lennie said.

'David Goodwillie has agreed to go back to Blackburn as he's struggled to settle in London. It was in everybody's best interests that he went back, so that's happened, it's just one of those things.'

Shame it didn't work out as Dougie obviously had high hopes for him, but with our form of late that no doubt contributed to any problems as he wasn't getting any pitch time, and it would've been unfair to change the team given how we have been playing.

Maybe we'll look at something in January again when maybe Goodwillie will get more playing time?
