Peter Ramage has said that the team only found out about Dougie Freedman's departure two hours before kick off against Barnsley, and they are aiming for the same professionalism and performance this weekend despite matters still rumbling on.
Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Ramage said that Lennie Lawrence and Curtis Fleming kept them informed of concrete news, but he was pleased the team didn't let the situation get the better of them.
'Lennie and Flem kept us informed when there was news, we knew obviously something was going on by looking at Sky Sports News and texts. To be fair, they always said they were going to keep us informed when they heard anything. He (Dougie) had prepared us on Monday and we went up there and did everything we normally do. Nothing changed or differed from any other away game this season, so we were obviously focused on Barnsley and put aside what was going on off the pitch.'
On Leicester he added.
'It's going to be a tough game. They're a hard team to play against and they've got quality, but so have we. It'll be two form teams so it's hopefully going to be a very good match and hopefully we can come out on top.'
Be nice to end the week on a high and with a victory.
