'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Freedman Won't Raid Palace

Dougie Freedman has said he won't be looking at Palace players in January, and he believes our youngsters will benefit more by staying at the club anyway.

Speaking to Sky Sports our former manager said when asked if he would return for any players.

'Not as we speak right now. I've left Palace with wonderful young players in the team. They've done very well and I believe they should stay at Crystal Palace right now and keep doing what they're doing.'

I doubt I'm the only one questioning whether this statement is similar to the crack about not being the kind of man who walks out on a job halfway through?
