'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ramage Praises Our Captain

Peter Ramage has credited the quiet but effective captain's role played by Mile Jedinak as one of the reasons for our run of good form.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Ramage said of Jedinak.

'Mile is one of the nicest human beings you could ever come across. He's just outstanding in every aspect. He's taken the captaincy role like water off a duck's back and carried on the work that Paddy was doing. He's very vocal, he's the mould of a captain.'

When we get Paddy back, having two clear leaders on the pitch will certainly do us no harm at all. Jedinak, like McCarthy are leaders by example, and we're going to need that if we hope to keep out play off dream alive, especially when the new gaffer comes in.

Dougie is entitled to seek a new employer - like anyone. What concerns me is his (Without saying it)point of view that Palace will NEVER be a big club with a premier league ground and financies to support a well paid and supported team for many years to come! I still have a high oppinion of Doug as a person and your family should benefit from this! The only thing that has "Knocked me back" is your phrase of "Buying into what we are trying to do" at Palace??? Steve Parish said he must "Protect the club" - after 2 admins it is understandable! Ron says "Sell Wilf and build a new stand"! fit for the prem! Everything boils down to oppinions in the end - What is constant is the "Fantastic Palace Fans" - quote on a Leicester City Blog! Thanks for that!

Just seems strange the way it played out given recent interviews, contracts or money in January??
