Palace Reject Caretaker Approaches

Dougie Freedman has confirmed that Palace have rejected an approach from Bolton for caretakers Lennie Lawrence and Curtis Fleming.

Speaking to BBC Radio Manchester, our former gaffer said.

'In Lennie and Curtis's situation, Palace feel that, right now, it's not the right time to let them talk to us. There's been discussions but I want to do it the correct and professional way. We've made the call - it's been rejected. We'll just watch this space.'

There's an air of inevitability surrounding this now, especially following Lennie's confirmation that he would not be applying for the job, so it depends on when we appoint our new manager before they leave sadly.
