Julian Kicked In The Speroni's
Julian Speroni has said he felt like he'd been kicked in the testicles when he found out that Dougie had left.
And yes, that wasn't something I thought I'd ever be writing on here.
Speaking to the South London Press Speroni said he could tow the PC line and say 'that's football' - which it obviously is - but clearly the shock departure of our former gaffer came as a shock to him.
'To be completely honest, I felt like someone had kicked me right in the testicles. Especially after all these years, we've worked hard to get in this position - finally things are going well - and now we need to change everything. I feel disappointed, sad.'
Fair comment really, it's exactly how most fans felt when the news was made official.
