Curtis Fleming has revealed he doesn't yet know if he will remain at Palace, but he thoroughly enjoyed managing the lads against Blackburn.
Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after our 2-0 win, Fleming said of the experience.
'It was a very enjoyable afternoon, as we know the lads are a good set of boys and know their jobs. I was confident they would be putting in a good performance but we were playing against a quality side. You can prepare all week and work hard but you don't know what is going to happen until the action starts and I certainly can't complain at what we saw.'
Fleming was obviously asked about his thoughts on Ian Holloway coming in.
'It's good to get someone in and a bit of stability, at the moment they are in a good frame of mind as we are on this great run and I am sure he cannot wait to start working with the players. I am sure they are looking forward to working with him.'
For his own future he added.
'I am a Crystal Palace employee and will work as hard as I can, but it's been in the press that I have been linked with a move but I can't tell you anymore until I have a chat with Ian Holloway.'
As for the game itself, our performance and Murray remaining amongst the goalscoring charts, he said.
'It's about doing the right things and concentrating on what we do, everyone works hard, we work as a team and battle for each other. Glenn has been fantastic and now has ten goals, he works so hard for the team but because of the type of guy he is he is in the dressing room thinking about the one he misses rather than the two he scored.'
It's certainly all their for Holloway to build on.
