Issott Proud Of Wilf Recognition

Issott Proud Of Wilf Recognition

Gary Issott has led the charge of praise for Wilfried Zaha after he worked his way into Roy Hodgson's England plans.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after news broke about the 20 year olds promotion, Issott said.

'Everyone at the club is delighted by the news. Wilfried's having a fantastic season and is becoming the player we all knew he would. His recognition makes us hugely proud of him and the work we do producing young players. His call up shows the benefits of starting your career at a club that is committed to giving young players a chance in the first team.'

Not a bad record in recent years, Jonathan Williams for Wales, and now Wilf for England.
