Holloway Confirms Goalkeeping Coach Change

Blackpool goalie coach and former Eagle George Wood is set to be announced as our new goalie coach, as Lee Turner is set to join Dougie at Bolton.

In quotes carried by the South London Press Ian Holloway confirmed what hopefully will be our final backroom change unless we choose to add somebody.

'I was left with the situation. I didn't really want to change anything but Dougie has taken Lennie and Curtis. He rang up and said he had offered Lee Turner something, we spoke to Lee and he felt he was right to go, he has been ultra professional. But how better to fill the hole than the fella that I had been working with for nearly a year. What he did with Matthew Gilks and our young lads was completely phenomenal. We're just very fortunate that he is going to come down.'

Welcome George - Another Palace connection. Subject change. Great vocal support at Selhurst! Perhaps more players need their own song? Heres my offering for Yannick - Altogether now - to the tune of The Hokey Cokey - Oh Bo Bo Bo Bolasie - Oh Bo Bo Bo Bolasie - Oh Bo Bo Bo Bolasie - He turns Em inside Out Out Out! All suggestions welcome - Excluding Simon Cowell.
