Garvan Calls On Palace To Shine

Owen Garvan has called on Palace to shine in the the average Championship and become one of the stand out sides in the second half of the season.

Speaking to the South London Press Garvan echoed Gus Poyet's comment that the league was average with no team really standing out, but Garvan believes Palace can use that to their advantage given our fantastic halfway start to the campaign.

'I'd probably agree, there has been no team that you think has been absolutely unbelievable.'

Palace? Nobody really expected this!

'So he does have a point, but it doesn't really matter. This is a time when a team should take advantage of that situation. We haven't come up against a team that is better than us, and that is a great thing for us to know.'
