Parish Confident Wilf Will Stay

Steve Parish has said that he is confident that Wilfried Zaha will still be here come the summer.

Speaking to Talksport, our co-chairman said of Wilfried's future.

'Right now we're concentrating on trying to get out of this league and the best way of doing that is adding to what we've got, not losing players. I think he will be a Palace player until the summer. He's said himself that he really wants to get promoted with the club, you can see on the pitch how hard he is trying to achieve that. I think he'll be a Palace player until the summer and then we will look at it. Obviously, we will look at anything that anybody offers us because we would be mad not to. So never say never, but right now we are focused on trying to keep everyone in the squad.'

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Ian Holloway also commented saying that as of yet nobody has made a concrete offer for Zaha, but he knows it's out of his hands.

'No (bid has come in), it's all pretty boring at the moment. Has anybody got any say in it? Did Wigan have any say in losing Victor Moses to Chelsea? What chance have you go when these clubs are getting richer and richer? All we are trying to do is play a certain way, keep the lad playing a certain way and try to improve ourselves. That's what the Palace fans want, it's what the board want, it's what I want and it's what the boy wants. We'll look at the deals, if there are deals, but why worry about something that hasn't happened? I believe Wilf's best place is here with us at the moment.'
