'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dougie Delighted With Welcome Return

Dougie Freedman has thanked the fans for the reception they gave him as he returned to Selhurst Park today.

Speaking to London24 following the draw, Dougie said.

'I thought it was a fantastic reception. I worked for this club for a long, long time. It's very close to my heart, I can't sit here and deny that. I had some wonderful times and they can never be taken away from me.'

Like an old song - "For the good times". However - everything moves on and hopefully up.

But the question has still not been answered.....Why did he leave?

Disappointed at the time cannon, but think you have to move on and wish him the best.

Pedro, when you look at his and Parish's interview's post his departure, whilst it's still guess work, I think both partially concede they could've done things differently in terms of the contract, communication and making each other feel wanted in many ways. Does seem like it could've been avoided.
