'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Holloway Started Disappointed, Ended Delighted

Ian Holloway has said he was delighted at the final whistle, despite being a bit unhappy with our first half performance.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following the 4-1 victory, Holloway said.

'I'm happy at the end of the game, the first half I was a bit disappointed. I challenged the lads, I thought we didn't move it quick enough and they've been looking a lot better than that this week. I told them at half time and we managed to up the pace and get ourselves into a comfortable situation.'

Holloway says that he thought Zaha was again excellent and with Roy Hodgson in attendance today, it was certainly a good time for the youngster to shine and force the England issue again, and he was delighted to welcome Jedinak and Dikgacoi back as it certainly added some strength to the middle of the park for us.

Ian also had praise for Stephen Dobbie after his performance.

'I've always said he's not your cake mix, he's your icing on the top. He's a beautiful, wonderful, fantastic player but if you're looking at him to tackle he won't always do that. Dobs has slotted right in.'

He also says that Palace fans haven't seen the best of him yet.
