'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Holloway Pleased, But Still Wants More

Following the win against Bristol City Ian Holloway declared himself pleased with the result, but he didn't think our performance levels matched the last game.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC the gaffer said that it was 'starting to come' for us, but he still called on the players to improve as far as they could.

'It wasn't as good as Saturday was. I thought the referee made a mistake just as we were getting into our stride.'

Despite that Holloway went on to praise the goal, describing it as 'brilliant and stunning' before heaping praise on the run and pass from Jazz Richards.

'You saw the confidence after we got the goal. It flowed through us then and we looked a different team. I'm delighted we got the points but there's a long way to go yet.'

Despite saying the performance wasn't as good as our last, Ian did add that he thinks he's seeing improvements from the players every week, and he was pleased to see us get the second goal, so rather than being disappointed at what he calls Parr's 'fantastic finish' the team can joke about it.
