'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Holloway Pleased With Result

A mix of bad refereeing, a good come back but missed chances have still left Ian Holloway relatively happy with a point from the Leeds game.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following the 2-2 draw, Holloway explained.

'I thought it was an exhillirating performance. Unfortunately I'm sat here pretty bemused how we were behind in the game and I'm delighted how we came back. I thought we missed too many chances today. On another day we would have won the game comfortably and the incidents I'm not very happy about I felt had a huge bearing on that.'

Holloway mentions these incidents in passing.

'I saw Luke Varney foul Jonny from behind, a blatant yellow card and ref didn't give him one. Two minutes later he dives and he should've been off. Then two minutes later Wilf's gone clean through and is scythed down completely, and the defender gets a yellow. If that's not a goalscoring opportunity I don't know the rules anymore. Bu I'm delighted with a point come the end of the day.'
