Holloway Pleased With Character But Not Result

Ian Holloway has said he was pleased with the character and the overall performance from the team today, and he feels we were unlucky not to share the points at least.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after watching us slip to a 1-0 defeat against Blackpool - despite dominating large parts of the game - Holloway said.

'We showed character today. We looked calm, believed in ourselves and didn't panic. For me that should have been a 0-0 if we didn't score, but it was a great strike from Matty that's won them the game. Things just aren't going our way but we have to keep going and keep believing. It's really important that we all stick together, we're not the only team to stutter, and we have six games left.'

Holloway says he won't let the players feel sorry for themselves, we just have to focus on getting ourselves out of this little rut and get ourselves back on track.
