Parish Praises Holloway

Parish Praises Holloway

Steve Parish has heaped praise on Ian Holloway following the victory over Brighton, especially following the criticism he faced as we saw the season out.

Speaking to News Shopper following the game, the co chairman said.

'Ian could see we were getting on top, he decided to turn the screw with the substitutions and it worked perfectly. That is the thing with our manager, he makes positive substitutions and he always tries to win games. He has had a sticky time with the fans, we went five games without a goal recently, Ian stood strong and kept bringing in new ideas. He deserves a lot of credit for that.'

Parish also had praise for match winner Wilfried Zaha, saying that he asked the player for three more big games before he departs for Old Trafford and so far, he's given us two of them.

'He was sensational, not only for the first two goals but his work rate for the team. I couldn't be more proud of him.'
