Palace Head To America

Palace Head To America

Crystal Palace will be spending another season, at least, in the premier league but co-chairman Steve Parish knows that this isn't quite enough yet to see 'glamour ties' secured for pre-season.

That's not to say that pre-season isn't going to be exciting or enjoyable, as it will be with Palace to head to the USA on a pre-season tour, as revealed exclusively in the South London Press today.

Parish is hopeful that a good few fans head to America with the club, he said: 'We're not deluding ourselves - Real Madrid haven't been on the phone.

'We're not a top, top club yet, we're the next echelon down. But you can get a game because you're Crystal Palace of the Premier League.

'So that's exciting. Hopefully there will be fans that can come along to either part or all of it.'

I'm one of those that likes pre-season to be played closer to home as this gives the fans a better chance of following the side but I can full appreciate why a trip to the likes of America appeals.

I do wonder how many will make this though, will you be one of them?
