'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Midfielder Italy Bound

Only days after being told to 'prove his worth' to Palace it would appear that Jose Campana's future will be permanently away from Selhurst Park.

The midfielder was signed on a four-year deal by former Palace boss Ian Holloway last season but struggled for first-team action and made just six first-team appearances, with the last of these made in October.

Upon Tony Pulis' arrival he subsequently loaned him out to German outfit Nurnberg on loan in January, they had the option of a permanent transfer but with them relegated from the Bundesliga that was that.

If rumours are true, and what sky sourced 'understand' are on the mark this time, the Spanish midfielder is on his way to Sampdoria?

Should Campana be confirmed as a Palace departure I'm not sure that too many will be overly disappointed....
