Sherwood Emerges As Palace Favourite

Rumour has it that former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is 'emerging as the favourite' to succeed Tony Pulis at Palace.

Steve Parish held talks with Sherwood at the weekend, along with Malky Mackay, with various newspaper reports claiming sources have said that Sherwood made 'a good impression' on our co-owner.

It looked, from the outside looking in, as if Sherwood did a decent enough job at White Hart Lane and was perhaps a little unlucky to lose his job. Many predicted a swift return to the game though and perhaps this will be at Selhurst Park?

Chris Hughton is rated as 'an outsider' for the job but Neil Lennon 'is not in the running'.

Whoever the man to fill Pulis' boots is they have a tough act to follow and will need to hit the ground running, with a decision expected in the next 24-hours....
