The Premier League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Crystal Palace and Watford this Tuesday.

Crystal Palace host Watford on Tuesday December 12 for the game at Selhurst Park and the match carries an 8pm kick off.

Referee: Lee Mason
Assistant Refs: Ian Hussin and Matthew Wilkes
Fourth Official: Simon Hooper

Match Day referee Mason has officiated ten games in 2017/18, showing 21 yellow cards and one red card.

He took in 25 games in 2016/17 with a return of 96 yellow cards and three red cards.

His highest card count that season was eight yellows in the game between Leicester City and Middlesbrough in November. Eight yellows also appeared in the Bristol City and Birmingham City clash and he also showed seven yellows and one red in the game between Manchester City and Burnley.

He took in 34 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 96 yellow cards and three red cards.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
