'Wise Overreacted!'

Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor is claiming Leeds United gaffer Dennis Wise overreacted in the row over the leaked team sheet.

Wise, I think we can all say has gone over board in his little rant over a un-named Leeds United player telling the Palace managment all the Yorkshire mens tactics and game plan.

'I'm disappointed and told Dennis.

'A Leeds player spoke to a Palace player on Friday night but it was a general conversation.' Taylor said speaking to The Guardian last night.

'I had an idea of who would be in the Leeds team at eight o'clock on Friday night but I had no information about team shape.

'As it was, a couple of players I thought would be in the Leeds team weren't. Players talk to players, it's part of life and it's not malicious.

'I should think there are 40 similar situations around the country at the weekend.

'I don't know why Dennis has made such a big thing out of it, it has been blown out of all proportion.'

Wise claimed he found out at 1 o'clock that a Leeds player had told Palace about the team shape and said the player in question would never play for the football club again.

Palace lost the game 2-1 at Elland Road with a Leon Cort header making the score look a little more respectable.
