Palace signings in July

Palace boss Peter Taylor has revealed he is not set to make his first summer signing until next month(July).

Palace have already sold Jobi McAnuff to Watford, left-back Gary Borrowdale also looks set to move on, with Coventry being front runners for his signature.

But Taylor has promised to take his time in bringing the right new faces to Selhurst Park.

'July will be when things get moving,' said the Palace manager. 'We've had a couple of phonecalls about our players and I've made a few enquiries.

'I understand supporters are keen to see signings but it would be wrong to get someone in now just to say you've done a deal. It's best to wait to get the right one.'

'We're not back in training until July and that's when we'll hopefully have two or three new faces.'

Well I hope he hurries up as all the best ones will be snapped up and we'll be left with all the dregs, mind you whats new.
