Palace put Ephraim loan on hold.

Palace put Ephraim loan on hold.

A new bid to loan Hogan Ephraim to Crystal Palace has been put on the back burner, although Peter Taylor could relight the gas in the near future.

Ephraim on loan to QPR from West Ham has extended his loan deal for an extra month, so wouldn't be available till October 8th.

This was a loan signing Peter Taylor was really after but the player went to QPR on loan instead, albiet for a month which has now been extended, Taylor has still said he will monitor the situation, He told the Croydon Guardian 'Nothing will happen with Ephraim at the minute.

'At the moment I'm hopeful Paul Ifill can stay fit - but if he doesn't stay fit, maybe that's something I can look at.'
