Symons to act as caretaker manager

According to sky sports, Kit Symons has become caretaker manager, following the sacking of Peter Taylor.

That could mean that Simon Jordan hasn't got a replacement sitting in the wings, so newspaper favorite Neil Warnock might not be getting the Palace hot seat, or its not as straight forward as people think, you never now Neil might not be in the frame, as he is supposed to be a close friend of Simon Jordan, and you couldn't see a close friend getting the job, specially how Simon Jordan is such a strict chairman.

Will it be Warnock?, or does this mean its someone else?
